China Buddhist figure-Young Master, Young Elder, retired to the abbot of Shanghai Xinyi Temple. Born in 1928, aged 90. Dongtai, Jiangsu, 1942 became a monk. He studied as a master at Shanghai Buddhist College and China Buddhist College. He is currently a member of the Advisory Committee of the Chinese Buddhist Association, honorary president of the Shanghai Buddhist Association, honorary president of the Shanghai Buddhist College, and a member of the Shanghai Buddhist Association. He attached great importance to Buddhist education all his life, and successively published textbooks and books such as Twenty-seven Doubts of the Diamond Sutra, All Life-giving Interpretation, and audio-visual products such as Introduction to Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra.
