He is a visiting scholar at Osaka Medical College in Japan. He is currently the deputy director of the Key Laboratory of Infectious Diseases of the Ministry of Health, the director of Zhejiang Bacterial Resistance Monitoring Center, the deputy director of the Liver Disease Branch of Zhejiang Medical Association, the drug evaluation member of the State Pharmaceutical Products Supervision and Administration, the chairman of the Hospital Infection Management Society of Zhejiang Branch of Chinese Preventive Medical Association, and the member of the Infectious Diseases Society of Zhejiang Branch of Chinese Medical Association. Has been engaged in the clinical, teaching and scientific research of infectious diseases. The research direction is the diagnosis and treatment of viral hepatitis and liver cirrhosis. Responsible for the verification of various new drugs including antibacterial drugs and antiviral drugs at home and abroad. Committed to the treatment of multi-drug-resistant bacteria and the study of bacterial drug resistance mechanism, the research results have won the second prize of China Medical Science and Technology and the first and second prizes of provincial scientific and technological progress for many times. Now he has presided over two provincial natural funds, participated in a national fund, and made many special reports at domestic anti-infection conferences. Published many papers in domestic and foreign magazines. He has rich teaching experience, edited Liver Cirrhosis, Progress of Internal Medicine and Infectious atypical pneumonia, and participated in the compilation of Infectious Microecology, Artificial Liver and Human Viral Diseases. He has taught "Bacterial Resistance and Rational Application of Antibiotics" and "Research Progress of Infectious Diseases" and other national continuing education classes 10, and has made great achievements in the fields of diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases and rational application of antibacterial drugs.

He used to be the president of the affiliated Yiwu Hospital, the vice president of the First Hospital of Zhejiang Medical University (concurrently), the deputy director of the Institute of Infectious Diseases, the member of the Drug Evaluation Committee of the State Medical Products Supervision and Administration, the deputy director of the Hospital Infection Management Society of Zhejiang Province, and the deputy director of the Liver Disease Branch of Zhejiang Medical Association.

He is currently a member of the Standing Committee of the 10th CPPCC of Zhejiang Province and vice chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee for Democratic Progressive Party.
