Huang Shuyu, formerly known as Jin, was born in Dongaikou Village, Zuoquan County, 19 18. Before the Anti-Japanese War, he studied in the Fifth Poor High School in Shanxi Province, the Eighth Middle School in Shanxi Province and Chengcheng High School in Taiyuan City. 1936, 12 joined the Shanxi Sacrifice Salvation Corps, 1937, 10 joined the revolutionary work, 1944 joined China * *. He has served as the staff officer of the Third District Battlefield Mobilization Committee in Liao County (now Zuoquan County, the same below), the editor-in-chief of Liaoxian Anti-Japanese War Newspaper, the principal of the second senior middle school, the head of the Zuo Quan Troupe, and the head of the education department of the anti-Japanese democratic government in Zuoquan County. During his stay in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, in order to meet the needs of propaganda work, he thoroughly transformed the traditional Zuo Quan folk songs and Zuo Quan Xiaohua Opera from content to form. Together with Wang and Yan Lianfu, he created more than 20 new folk songs such as General Zuo Quan, and edited, published and staged more than 20 new dramas. 1945 was elected as a model dramatist in Taihang district, and won the medal and certificate of the government of Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan border region. During the War of Liberation, he served as the editorial board member of the Education Department of the Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Border Region Government and the director of the Social Education Department of the Ministry of Education of the People's Government of North China. During this period, he edited and published New Primary School Textbook in Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Henan Border Region, Literacy Textbook for Rural Private Schools in North China and New Dictionary. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), he served as Director of Social Education Department of Ministry of Education, Deputy Director of General Office, Director of Research Office, Secretary of Party Committee and Vice President of Higher Education Press. Deputy Editor-in-Chief in 1960s and 1970s, he presided over the editing and publishing of general textbooks for colleges and universities in China twice. 1987 won the first Taofen Publishing Award in the national publishing industry. After leaving the army, he participated in the editing and editing of more than 20 books, such as Educational History of China Revolutionary Base (Deputy Editor), A Brief History of Zuoquan County, Zuo Quan County Annals, Zuoquan County Cultural Annals and Zuoquan County Folk Songs Selected Works. He has published poems and essays, such as Yu Shu and Cao Yin, Morning Collection, Yu Shu Diary, Yu Shu Wen Cun and Yu Shu Letters. 1989 was awarded the "Elite Award for Doing a Good Job in Aging" by the State Education Commission. He has been engaged in poetry creation for nearly 80 years and published more than a thousand works. He is one of the founders of the Chinese Poetry Society and a member of the Education Committee of the Society.
