In November of the 14th year of Tianbao, An Lushan and Shi Siming, the envoys of Fanyang and other three towns, launched a rebellion in Fanyang in the name of killing Yang, which was called "Anshi Rebellion" in history. Since then, the Tang empire has turned from prosperity to decline, which is a major historical turning point.
Tang Xuanzong ruled for 46 years and changed his title once every three years. The first one is called congenital, which has been used for less than two years, the second one is called Kaiyuan, which has been used for 29 years, and the third one is called Tianbao, which has been used for 15 years.
Since 742 AD, the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty has entered a new era. The name of this new era is Tianbao, and the most important feature is luxury and enjoyment.
During the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, the reasons for changing the title from Kaiyuan to Tianbao were as follows:
1, Tang Xuanzong thought that he had completed all the major events in his life during his reign and wanted to start enjoying the fruits of his labor.
2. In the 29th year of Kaiyuan, two brothers of the same generation in Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty died. In order to avoid bad luck, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty changed the year number to Tianbao.
3. During the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, an official who worked in a local office wrote to Emperor Xuanzong, saying that he had seen auspicious signs from heaven, which directly contributed to the direct reason why Emperor Xuanzong changed his country name to Tianbao.
