After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), he served as the organization minister of Southwest Jiangxi Party Committee, deputy secretary, organization minister and secretary of Ganzhou District Committee, deputy secretary, second secretary and first secretary of Gannan District Committee, standing committee member and organization minister of Jiangxi Provincial Committee, director of Revolutionary Committee of Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province, and party secretary of Jiangxi Provincial Party School.
In June, 1980, 1 was elected as the vice chairman of the fourth committee of Jiangxi Province.
1997 1 After retiring from the army in June, he served as the president of the Jiangxi New Fourth Army Research Association.
