Comrade Zhang zhen experienced the Long March of the Red Army, War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the War of Liberation and the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. 1985 was ordered to establish a national defense university, 1955 was awarded the rank of lieutenant general in September, and 1988 was awarded the rank of general in September.
