From February 65438 to February 0955, he served as Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and Director of the Sales Bureau of the First Ministry of Machinery Industry. 1April, 957, he was transferred to the position of Deputy Director and Party Secretary of Shanghai Municipal Sports Commission. 1after March, 1969, he served as a member of the political propaganda group of the Shanghai Municipal Sports Commission Revolutionary Committee, deputy secretary of the Party branch of the Municipal Sports Commission Cadre School, deputy secretary of the Municipal Sports Commission Party Committee, director and party secretary of the Municipal Sports Commission Revolutionary Committee, deputy director of the Education and Health Office of the Municipal People's Government, director and party secretary of the Municipal Sports Commission, and consultant of the Municipal Sports Commission. 1June 1983 to1April 1988, he was a member of the Standing Committee of Shanghai CPPCC. 1977- 1990 served as vice chairman of the All-China Sports Federation and chairman of the Shanghai Branch of the All-China Sports Federation. Retired in June, 1990. 1993 died of illness.
