Li, male, born in 1964, Xichong, Sichuan, second-class professor, doctoral supervisor, foreign academician of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, national registered civil engineer (geotechnical), dean of School of Environment and Civil Engineering, Chengdu University of Technology.

Li graduated from Chengdu Institute of Geology with a master's degree1988; Later, he worked as a teaching assistant and assistant researcher in Chengdu Institute of Geology. 1994 so far, he has served as the director and vice president of the teaching and research section of the School of Environment and Civil Engineering of Chengdu University of Technology; In 2002, he received a doctorate from Chengdu University of Technology.

In 2003, he served as deputy director of the National Professional Laboratory of School of Environment and Civil Engineering, Chengdu University of Technology; In 2007, he served as executive deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Geological Disaster Prevention and Control, School of Environment and Civil Engineering, Chengdu University of Technology; In 2022, he was elected as a foreign academician of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Li Changchun is engaged in the teaching and research of geological engineering, geotechnical engineering and tunnel engineering.

Li's main research directions are: tunnel and underground engineering stability and disaster prevention, slope geological disaster prevention and control and engineering high slope stability control.
