Jin's personal works
Jin Yu 1689 (Su Zong 15) wrote the novel Dream of Nine Clouds. The appearance of Dream Outside Nine Clouds marks the beginning of the Korean novel era. Dream on cloud nine is a novel with 16 chapters. It is set in China and written in Chinese in the form of a dream story. It describes the emotional relationship between a scholar and many women, and finally realizes the nothingness and enlightenment in the world. According to Tang Xianzong Lee and North Korea's Su Zongshen Zi, Dream of Nine Clouds was written by Jin, who was exiled to his hometown at that time, to relieve his worries and boredom. Dream Outside the Cloud Nine had a great influence on later Korean novels, and novels about dreams were all the rage. 18 and 19 century China's novels, like dreams, can also see the traces of inheriting the "Nine Dreams".

Xie Nanzheng wrote in 1689- 1692. Jin's manuscript is thought to be written in proverbs, while Sun Jinchun of Jintang copied it in Chinese characters again. The work tells a truth that "the value of a woman depends on how she plays the role of a wife".
