A resume, HR will leave you no more than ten seconds. If you don't get the important content within ten seconds, they will go straight through. So generally speaking, the length of resume is limited to A4 paper of 1 page. Writing too much, on the one hand, is the high cost of reading, on the other hand, HR will think that your summary ability is not enough.
2, the appearance is simple
Judging from the appearance of resume, the design should be simple and generous, and the color scheme should be reasonable, in other words, it should be good-looking and easy to read. Generally, black and white color matching is the most common, and light purple, blue and green are also in line with public aesthetics. It is strongly recommended not to use colors with strong visual impact, such as red and orange, and it is also recommended not to use too dull blue and gray.
3. The content is true
We should fill in all our information truthfully, but truth does not mean that we can tell the whole story about our shortcomings. We can selectively highlight some aspects, but optimization does not mean fraud. For example, after learning the recruitment information of an enterprise, some students know that the knowledge structure needed for their positions is still lacking, but they can obtain it through self-study, fill in this part in their resumes first, and then study hard after submitting their resumes, so as not to violate the principle of authenticity of resumes. However, most fabrications about work experience and achievements will be seen through in the interview process, which will also leave a bad impression on HR.
4. Targeted
If practical experience has nothing to do with job requirements, don't write it. Because of the lack of internship experience and project experience, many children are particularly easy to write down the clubs and campus activities they participate in at school. There is a lot of such information, but such a resume gives people the impression that there is no focus, and HR can't know what abilities and experiences you have that match the position you are applying for. Such a resume is worthless. If you decide on an intended position, all your experiences must be close to that position. Don't fill your resume with words, just like writing a running account of college life.
I really don't know how to write it, so I read the job description and ability requirements several times, and then write my own work experience and ability according to this description.
For example, this is the requirement of a company's "new media operation specialist". What are their real needs? Excellent copywriting skills and excellent content editing skills.
Then a targeted self-introduction can be written like this:
Three years of copywriting experience, the article has been forwarded by many large companies, and the reading volume is1w+;
He once contributed to a famous magazine, with a single contribution fee of 3000 yuan;
Insist on writing in my spare time, with an average daily income of 5000+;
This content conveys a lot of information. Therefore, after defining the company's job requirements, the next thing to do is to analyze yourself and see what abilities and experiences you have in the past and whether you have met the company's requirements.
5. Result data.
Your resume should provide objective data to prove your ability. When developing past experience, you can't just use descriptive language, so HR can't evaluate what substantive work you have done. The most effective way to explain this is to use data, such as how long it took you to write an article, what is the means to promote this article, what is the reading volume and liking, and what is the conversion rate. Your personal value is reflected in what you have achieved for the company, not what you have done, because what you have done does not necessarily create value for the company.
