He graduated from the journalism department of Fudan University in Shanghai and the applied photography department of Shanghai University of Engineering Science. Since he became a monk in June 2002, he has served as deputy temple, mage and Xitang of Baoshan Temple in Shanghai. From 2005 to 2007, I studied in the postgraduate class of religion in the Department of Religion of Nanjing University. On May 3rd, 2008, he was promoted to the abbot of Changxing Shousheng Temple.

Since 1999 became a monk, Master Shi Jielong has done good deeds with the compassion of the Buddha and interpreted the great love of the world with the compassion of the monk. At the same time, he always kept in mind the glorious duty and mission of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, actively performed his duties, and put forward a series of constructive opinions and suggestions for Changxing's economic construction.
