It is not unusual for princesses to be relatives in various dynasties. During the Tang Dynasty, China was also a prosperous time, but there were also many princesses, the most famous being Princess Wencheng who married Tubo. But there is also a princess Jincheng who married Tubo, but her fame is much smaller than that of her great-grandfather Princess Wencheng.
1. Background at that time: In the eighth year of Tang Zhenguan (634), the Tubo Zambson Zagambu, who was rejected by Emperor Taizong, led an army to invade the Tang Dynasty, and the Tang Dynasty successively lost three cities. After Emperor Taizong, a distant clan daughter was named Princess Wencheng and married into Tubo. In 7 10, the Tang dynasty defeated Tubo continuously, and there was a trend of outward expansion. Later, she married Princess Jincheng, who was only 12 years old, to Tubo Zambu Kridê Zukzain.
2. Achievements: Princess Wencheng, with both talents and looks, is very popular in Tibet. At the same time, she is knowledgeable, bringing Han culture to Tubo and promoting economic development. Princess Jincheng has been in Tibet for 30 years. During this period, Tang and Tibet experienced more than 200 wars. However, through the mediation of Princess Jincheng, the envoys of the two sides kept exchanging, which laid the foundation for Tang Pan to demarcate and erect a monument in Chiling in 773 and end years of war.
Through the analysis of the above two points, it is concluded that Princess Wencheng mainly promoted the economic development of Tubo and was deeply loved by the Tubo people. In the long run, the arrival of Princess Wencheng laid the foundation for the subsequent development of Tubo. Princess Jincheng lives in the constant war between the two countries, and the Tubo will inevitably have bad feelings in her heart, and she has not made much achievements in economic development.
But it can't be said that Princess Jincheng laid a great foundation for the subsequent armistice. It's just a pity that there are few records about Princess Jincheng in the history books, and there are also many people who know less about this princess.
