Brief introduction of Qingshan temple
Qingshan Temple is located on Qingshi Mountain in the north of Dajing Town, Wuwei City. Backed by the Great Wall, it is on the west side of Dagong Wharf. Because of its high terrain, overlooking the great capital, it is solemn and magnificent. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Basha (Dajing) was recovered and the Great Wall was built behind the temple. On the east side of the temple, the Dagong pier is built high, which constitutes a scene of "lonely mountain at night". In the early Qing Dynasty, Guandi Temple was rebuilt in the original temple site, still called Qingshan Temple, also known as Jinshan Temple, and was demolished in the 1950s. Now, with the strong support of enthusiastic people and governments at all levels, it has gradually recovered its original appearance.

Qingshan Temple has a long history. Built in the Southern and Northern Dynasties, it has formed a temple-sized group from the end of Ming Dynasty to the beginning of Qing Dynasty. Dajing area includes Hongshan Temple in the upper reaches of Dajing Gorge, Baiyi Temple in the west of Dajing Gorge, Dafo Temple in the northeast corner of the city, Huangjia Temple in the west bank of Badonggou and Runwheel Temple in the mouth of Huazhuang Gorge. Since the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, Mongolian monks have always visited Qingshan Temple when passing through Dajing. Historically, it is the center of religious belief and cultural exchange of Han, Mongolian and Tibetan nationalities. Now every year, on the Lantern Festival, April 8, and the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, many good men and women go to the temple to burn incense and worship Buddha, and to worship their ancestors to catch up with the meeting. It is also a new tourist attraction in Dajing area in recent years.
