Chi Zijian, 1964, was born in Mohe, an Arctic village in China. Member of the National Committee of Chinese Writers Association, vice chairman of Heilongjiang Writers Association. His main works are novels under the tree, The Morning Bell Rings in the Dusk, Jiao Manchukuo, Sunshine Beyond the Clouds, Right Bank of Ergon, Collection of Short Stories, Fairy Tales in the Arctic Village, Collection of Prose, Sad Beauty and Snowing in My World. His works have won the Lu Xun Literature Award and the Australian Suspense Literature Award, and have been translated into English, French, Japanese and Italian literary works for publication abroad.
