Li Lingyao was born in Hong 'an, Hubei, grew up in Taiwan Province, and then studied in the United States. During my college years, I was the president of the Student Union of Taiwan Province Provincial University (National Taiwan University). After graduating from National Taiwan University, I went to the United States to study computer science at the Graduate School of the University of Maryland.
