In 2008, the company was recognized as a national high-tech enterprise and has a provincial environmental protection technology center composed of high-quality technicians. Over the years, Yongqing Environmental Protection has paid attention to independent innovation, continuously increased the research and development of energy-saving and emission-reduction technologies, and successively carried out business cooperation and technical exchanges on energy-saving and emission-reduction with first-class universities and environmental protection enterprises such as George Institute of Technology in the United States, Edrico Company in Italy and Bakdur Company in Germany. Breakthrough progress has been made in limestone-gypsum wet flue gas desulfurization technology, circulating fluidized bed dry desulfurization technology, iron and steel sintering machine desulfurization, non-ferrous smelting furnace flue gas desulfurization, paper mill boiler flue gas desulfurization, flue gas denitrification, waste heat power generation, etc. A number of key technologies have been independently innovated, and scientific and technological achievements have been successfully transformed, making it one of the few enterprises with independent intellectual property rights of flue gas denitrification technology in China. The technological achievements of energy conservation and emission reduction developed by Yongqing Environmental Protection have been widely used in thermal power, steel, smelting, chemical industry, building materials, paper making, offshore oil and other industries.
