One of the top ten disciples of Sakyamuni (born in 463 BC) is a transliteration of Ananda in Sanskrit. Originally a cousin of Sakyamuni Buddha, he became a monk with the Buddha. At the age of 55, the Buddha chose Ananda as his constant attendant and worked as a waiter for 25 years. Because he served the Buddha wholeheartedly and remembered everything the Buddha said, he was called "listening more". In the first episode after the extinction of the Buddha, Ananda recited three Tibetan scriptures.
After the Buddha's nirvana, Buddha Sakyamuni became the "ancestor" and led the majority of Buddhist disciples. After the death of Sakyamuni, Ananda inherited Buddhism led by Ye Jia and became the second ancestor of the Buddha. In the temple, Ananda and Ye Jia always stood on both sides of the Buddha and became his assistants.
