He has directed such stage plays as Great Drama on Earth (drama), The Story of Purple Hairpin (Kunqu Opera) and Moon Pavilion. His published works include: Yu Zhenfei's Letters Collection (editor-in-chief of monograph) and The Palace of Eternal Life-Collection of Performance Prose (editor-in-chief of monograph in cooperation with others); Papers include: Characteristics of TV Programs, Discussion on Drama Expression on Screen, and Exploring the Communication Form of Kunqu Opera in Modern Cities. Won the honorary title of "Advanced Worker of National Cultural System". At present, he is a member of China Television Artists Association, vice president of China Opera Performance Society, director of China Opera Directors Association, director of Shanghai Dramatists Association and judge of Shanghai Magnolia Drama Performance Award.
