Generally speaking, the statue of Wei Tuo Bodhisattva is a standing statue, which represents the respect and protection for the Dojo and practitioners. Only the Wei Tuo Bodhisattva in East Tianmu Mountain is seated, which is a special case, because East Tianmu Mountain is the Dojo of Bodhisattva Wei Tuo, which is his own home. Of course, he can sit in it. In other places, most of the bodhisattvas in Wei Tuo protect the dharma by standing statues, and sitting statues are rarely seen.
