There is a village called Guajia Pagoda in Xiangshan. It is said that Yang once went to move soldiers alone and met Liao soldiers at the foot of the mountain. Seeing that the situation was not good, he ran to the mountain.
In order to confuse Liao soldiers, he hung his armor on a small tower and ran in the opposite direction, so this small mountain village was called "Guajia Tower" village.
Not far from here, there is a knife-like cliff called "knife-splitting cliff". According to legend, Mu, the female general of Yangmen, chased Liao soldiers down the mountain and saw them trying to escape from the mountain pass. In desperation, she waved a broadsword, which flew in the direction of Liao soldiers' escape. The machete suddenly fell to the top of the mountain because of excessive force. With a click, the top of the mountain was cut in half, and more than 500 Liao soldiers were buried in the rubble at the foot of the mountain. Later, people called the cliff she chopped down with a machete "knife chopping cliff".
Not far north of the Summer Palace, there is a "Wanger Mountain", which is said to be Song Jun's camp in Liao and Song Dynasties. When She Taijun's son led troops to fight the Liao army, She Taijun often climbed mountains to see her and beat drums to help her. Later generations named this mountain "Wanger Mountain" in memory of her.
The village she saw in the northeast was called the Northeast King, which is now the Northeast King, and the village in the northwest was called the Northwest King, which is now the Northwest King.
Yangfang House, not far from Wang 'er Mountain, is said to be the place where it was stationed, while Han Jiachuan is the place where Liao soldier Han Chang was stationed. Influenced by legend, the two villages did not marry for hundreds of years, and it was not until 1990 that they broke through the barriers and exchanged marriages.
A few miles north of Wanger Mountain, there is a place called Liangjiadian. According to legend, once, Yang Liulang led his troops to pass by this place, and was caught in a heavy rain, so he camped on the spot and hung nails here after the rain, hence the name "Liangjiadian". Later, according to this homonym, it was called "Liangjiadian".
Outside the east wall of the Summer Palace, there is a village called Liulangzhuang, formerly known as Niulanzhuang. Legend has it that Yang Liulang was injured in the battle with Liao soldiers, and recovered in this village. He also removed a bully for the villagers. In memory of him, people called this village "Liulangzhuang".
Changping District has a ditch dozens of miles long, and there is a relief portrait on the cliff. According to legend, this is the image of Yang, the commander-in-chief guarding the three passes, so it is called "Liulang Shadow".
In Laoyugou, there is a village called Lisitai. It is said that Mu Guiying once gave birth here. But due to the emergency of the war, she had to temporarily put her son in a cave in the jungle and sent a maid to take care of him. But she fought in tears. In memory of Yang Jiajiang, the local people called the place where Mu Guiying left his children "drop-off platform". With the passage of time, it was later changed to "Miss Taiwan Province".
Not far from here, there is a broken wall, which is said to be a "horse-blocking wall" built by Yang Liulang to fight against Liao soldiers again.
There is also a "point-to-point platform" under Juyongguan, where Mu will skillfully retreat Liao soldiers.
There is a big river called Yemachuan in the north of Fanzipai Village in Miyun County. Legend has it that a Yang Liulang War passed by here and he met a wild horse swimming in the river. He saw at a glance that the horse was a valuable BMW, so he jumped off the shore, flew on the horse's back and tamed it. Since then, this horse has become his mount, galloping with him on the battlefield of killing, hence the name "White Horse Pass".
Outside Baimaguan, there are two villages, one is called Siyingzi and the other is called Fengjiayu, but actually Siyingzi has no four, and Fengjiayu has no Feng. It turns out that this is where Mu repaired the armor torn by enemy soldiers after fighting with Liao soldiers. In order to commemorate her achievements, people called the place where she tore her armor "Armor Tearing Camp" and the place where she sewed her armor "Armor Sewing Valley". After a long time, it became "Siyingzi" and "Fengjiayu".
There is an earthen mound grave in Longevity Mountain, Gubeikou, in front of which stands a stone tablet engraved with the three Chinese characters "air billow Tomb". According to legend, Yang grew old to resist the enemy and was ambushed by treacherous court officials. After being shot by random arrows in front of Gubeikou Pass, it was thrown into the river. Later, it was discovered by the local people, buried in Wanshou Mountain after the memorial ceremony, and carved a stone tablet.
Besides, Yanqing, Pinggu, Daxing, Mentougou and Fangshan have some legends and place names related to Yang Jiajiang, all of which are legendary.
In fact, according to historical records, Yang Jiajiang never really went to Beijing to fight against Liao soldiers in history. These place names and legends related to Yang Jiajiang in the suburbs of Beijing were fabricated out of respect and love for Yang Jiajiang.
