Professor Wenge Song is good at the diagnosis and treatment of chronic pain diseases and intractable pain, especially spinal pain diseases, and has carried out a number of research work on minimally invasive interventional therapy.

Since the 1990s, we have successively improved the innovative work such as "Posterior branch block of spinal nerve and radio frequency surgery" and "release of needle knife inside and outside intervertebral foramen for adhesion of spinal nerve root", which broke the "forbidden zone" of needle knife treatment, obviously improved the clinical curative effect and greatly reduced the difficulty and risk of treatment. The research on "sequential five-method treatment of cervical spondylosis" and "disc dissolution treatment of lumbar disc herniation" has been carried out successively, and minimally invasive pain treatment technologies such as percutaneous laser vaporization disc decompression (PLDD), plasma ablation disc decompression, percutaneous disc rotation decompression, IDET and ozone therapy have been introduced, which has improved the pertinence of disease treatment and realized the individualization of disease treatment.
