1, Yang Zhenning, 1922, 10, born in Hefei, Anhui Province, physicist, professor Bowen of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and director of the Institute of Theoretical Physics, honorary dean and professor of the Institute of Advanced Studies of Tsinghua University, honorary professor of the State University of New York at Stony Brook, China Academy of Sciences, foreign academician of the National Academy of Sciences, academician of Academia Sinica in China and honorary academician of the Hong Kong Academy of Sciences.

He is the first China scientist to visit China after the Sino-American relationship has eased. He actively promoted Sino-American cultural exchanges and mutual understanding between Chinese and American people, and made great contributions to the establishment of diplomatic relations, talent exchange and scientific and technological cooperation between China and the United States.
