There are many mountains in Zibo, and Lushan Mountain is the most famous, which is known as "the first mountain in central Shandong". Lushan Mountain is located in the south of Zibo and the geographical center of Shandong Province. It is one of the four high mountains in Shandong Province, with mountains, water, forests, springs, rocks and caves at an altitude of 1 108.3 meters, ranking the highest in Shandong, with unlimited scenery!
Lushan Mountain was the racecourse of Qingzhou Prefecture in history. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, it became a state-owned forest farm with good natural ecology, but the fly in the ointment is the lack of well-known historical and cultural landscape, which may be the reason why Lushan Mountain is not as good as Mount Tai and other famous mountains. The main scenic spots of Lushan Mountain are Zaoshuyu Waterfall, Huaya, Liangwangquan, Shiwan Labyrinth, the first sight of Lushan Mountain, Guanyunfeng and Tuochan Temple.
2. Wuyang Mountain
Wuyang Mountain is located in shima town, Boshan District, Zibo City. Characterized by "stone", it is named after the five peaks around the sun. In front of this mountain is Linzi River, followed by Xiaoshui, and the main peak is 688.5 meters above sea level. There are mainly five peaks: peace village, Jiaolong Village, Zuitai, Fenghuang and Leigutai. With its steep cliffs and quaint architecture, it is a good place for outdoor play and exploration.
3. Harayama
Located in Boshan District, Zibo City, Yuanshan is a national forest park, including Phoenix Mountain, Wangyushan, Wanglushan, Xuejiading Mountain and Jiagutai. There are more than 120 peaks with beautiful nature and rich humanities. It can be said that it is beautiful and colorful, with ancient stories circulating. Representative scenic spots include Jade Hall, Qi Great Wall, rock paintings, stone sea and so on. Among them, Wang Lushan is located at the junction of Laiwu and Boshan, which is the junction of Qi and Lu in history. To the east of the mountain, there is the Qingshiguan of Qi Great Wall, which is a good place to explore ancient seclusion.
4. Tan Xishan
Tanxi Mountain is located in Zichuan District, Zibo City, with picturesque natural scenery, known as "natural oxygen bar", with different scenery all year round, which is very suitable for sightseeing. The scenic spots are rich in natural and cultural landscapes. According to historical records, Prince Zhaoyang of the Ming Dynasty took refuge here to study, hence the name Zhaoyang Cave. Tang Saier once stationed troops here for an uprising, leaving behind some historical sites such as Dianjiangtai, Sanjiao Temple, ancient monuments and ancient temples. Nature is amazing, and there are more overpasses, overpasses, sister waterfalls, looking up at the sky and so on.
5. Lujiao Mountain
Located in the southeast of Boshan District, it is a bluestone mountain with peaks rising side by side. The steep rocks stand upright and look like antlers from a distance. The main peak is located 5 kilometers southeast of Yolanda Village, with an altitude of 843 meters. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, this was the base of the Eighth Route Army. There are two branches extending northeast: one is the source Dongguaguo Mountain in the west, and the other is Ridongzhai Mountain in the east. Extending to the southeast is a mountain range connected with the foot of Lushan Mountain. Dazhai Mountain and Xiaozhai Mountain are in the south, and Banshan Mountain, Black Tiger Mountain and Panlong Mountain are in the south of Dazhai Mountain.
6. Yueyang Mountain
It is one of the boundary mountains between Boshan District and Zichuan District, with a total length of 10 kilometers and 99 peaks, and is known as 99 Yueyang Mountain. The main peak is in the north of Gushan Village, extending eastward to Tianjin Bay, with an altitude of 8 1 1 m and a platform above it. According to legend, watching the sunrise on this platform is no less than watching the sunrise on Mount Tai.
