Wang Zelong, born in 1957, is from Honghu, Hubei. 1982 1 month graduated from the College of Literature of Huazhong Normal University with a bachelor's degree, and graduated from Huazhong Normal University with a doctor of literature in 2004. At present, he is a professor at the School of Literature of Huazhong Normal University, a doctoral supervisor, an expert on special government allowance of the State Council, the first cross-century academic leaders in Hubei universities, and a director of China Modern Literature Society.

The main academic achievements are: The Tide of Modernist Poetry in China, Research on the Trend of New Literature in China, History of Hubei Literature (co-authored with Wang Qizhou), Reflection and Reconstruction: An Overview of the History of Modern Literature in China, Modern Literature in China (editor-in-chief) and other works; He has published more than 50 academic papers/kloc-0 in China Social Sciences, Literature Review, Literature Research and Foreign Literature Review.
