Where are the files of previous graduates and how to extract them?
First, the file location

1. If you don't have a job when you graduate, the files of college students will be sent back to your hometown, that is, the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau where your high school is located.

2. If you get a job after graduation, and your unit has a file management department, then the file will follow you, that is, the place where you work and the people's social security bureau where the file is located. General state-owned enterprises, government agencies and institutions have the authority to manage archives.

Second, the extraction method

1. If the archives of previous graduates are in the school, the extraction method is to have a file transfer letter, and the school will send it directly to the local talent center;

2. Transfer the file to the school, and the school will send the graduate file as the local personnel bureau;

It is impossible for your file to be sent directly to the talent center of your employment place by personal hand. You are responsible for giving the transfer letter to the school.

Extended data:

1. Students who have signed state organs, state-owned enterprises and institutions should check their files at the first employing unit (the mailing address of the file on the employment agreement signed by themselves);

2. Other non-public units and private institutions have no authority to manage personnel files, and generally entrust local public employment and talent service institutions to receive and manage files;

3. Unemployed and employed graduates who have not gone through the file keeping procedures and gone abroad shall, in accordance with relevant regulations, in principle, transfer their files back to the graduate employment department of the city (county, district) (original domicile) where the students are located.
