Sinuhong's son is Ma Dingsheng, and Ma Dingsheng is a Hong Kong military commentator, an anchor of Phoenix TV, a member of China Modern Military History Society, and a visiting researcher of Guangdong Academy of Social Sciences.
Ma Dingsheng's ancestral home is Shunde, Foshan, Guangdong, and his parents are Ma Shiceng and Xian Naihong, the top performing artists of Cantonese opera. Ma Dingsheng spent his adolescence in the middle school affiliated to Tsinghua University in Beijing, and graduated from the History Department of Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou.

Sinuhong's red school art is based on the traditional Hua Dan singing method of Cantonese opera, absorbing other operas such as Peking Opera, as well as techniques such as bel canto singing and movies.
