Huaibei Normal University is two universities. Huaibei Normal University was founded in 1974, when it was Huaibei Branch of Anhui Normal University. 1978 12 menstrual period was approved by the State Council, and it was named Huaibei Coal Teachers College, which was affiliated to the former Ministry of Coal Industry and enrolled students nationwide.

The school has two campuses, Xiangshan and Binhu, covering an area of more than 3,000 mu. The campus is built on the mountain, with beautiful natural environment and strong humanistic atmosphere.
