Ganzhou is a national historical and cultural city, a national civilized city, a national forest city, the seat of the former Central Soviet Area, the starting point of the Long March, and one of the main settlements of Hakka people, with strong Hakka culture. Wen Tianxiang, Zhou Dunyi, Hai Rui, Wang Shouren, Xin Qiji and the Communist Party of China (CPC)'s first-generation core were all in charge of Gannan. There are many Hakka celebrities in southern Jiangxi, such as Zhong Shaojing, the first prime minister of the south of the Yangtze River, Yun, a poet in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, a famous doctor in the Northern Song Dynasty, an essayist, a painter Xu Sizhuang, the ancestor of Luo Mu and Dr. Sun Yat-sen, and Guo Dali, a modern economist. Zhong Shaojing (659~746), a calligrapher in Tang Dynasty, was born in Qingde Township, Xingguo County. He is the17th generation grandson of Zhong You, a famous calligrapher of the Three Kingdoms, and the first prime minister of Jiangnan. Zhong Shaojing's calligraphy is represented by the famous Ling Fei Classic, which is one of the famous calligraphy posts in the history of China.

Zheng Yi (1022~ 1072) was a writer, politician and scholar in the northern song dynasty. West Gate of Meijiang Town, Ningdu County. He entered the imperial court as the judge of the degree of support, entered the Jixian Institute, presided over the compilation of the emperor's note, drafted the imperial edict, and enjoyed three things. Once upon a time (1085~ 1 166), he was a famous poet in the Southern Song Dynasty. He has served as Jiangxi, Zhexi, secretary, less supervisor and assistant minister of the Ministry of Rites. Once upon a time, he was knowledgeable and diligent in politics. Item and its anthology have been lost. Sikuquanshu has 8 volumes of Chashan Collection, compiled from Yongle Dadian.

Wei (1624~ 168 1), a native of Ningdu County, was an essayist in the Qing Dynasty. His biographies, such as Biography of Big Tie, Biography of Jiang Tianyi, Biography of Liu Wenbing, Biography of Zhu and Biography of Qiu Weiping, are concise and vivid.

Gao Xingjian, 1940, a native of Ganzhou, was originally from Taizhou, Jiangsu, and later immigrated to France. June 5438 +65438 10+February 2000 was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature at the age of 60. He is a famous playwright, painter, novelist, translator, director and critic.
