Ward rounds are all severe head injuries, presided over by head nurse Liu Qingrun. First of all, I explained the concept, clinical manifestations and severity classification of craniocerebral injury, so that everyone had a certain understanding of craniocerebral injury. Then Li, the nurse in charge, introduced the patient's situation to everyone, and then went to the ward for nursing physical examination. Although the patient was still in a shallow coma and could not cooperate with the examination, the bedside physical examination was successfully completed with everyone's active cooperation and mutual cooperation. Then, using the five steps of nursing procedure, the existing and potential nursing problems of patients are analyzed one by one, and the unsolved problems are put forward. The whole process of ward round is carried out in the process of asking and answering questions. We actively exchange experiences and brainstorm, so that many existing problems can be finally solved.
I participated in this nursing ward round and mastered the application process of nursing procedure in business ward round. In the course of Li's demonstration and explanation, he got a deeper understanding of nervous system examination such as meningeal irritation syndrome (neck rigidity, Kniig's sign, Bruzinski's sign) and pathological sign (babinski's sign, Hoffman's syndrome), and learned a lot of professional knowledge and new nursing skills through Liu Qingrun's theoretical knowledge and explanation of nasointestinal tube for rounds.
Through this nursing ward round, I have improved my understanding of holistic nursing, and made me understand that the work of nurses is not limited to routine injections and infusions, but to comprehensively evaluate and care patients by using nursing procedures, and constantly improve the clinical thinking of nursing.
