Li Guangyuan (1March, 946 ——), born in Yuncheng, Shandong Province, is an oil painter, an art theorist, a professor at Shandong Art College, a leader of key disciplines in Shandong universities and a tutor for master students.

1965 graduated from Shandong Theatre Academy, 1982 majored in Shanghai Theatre Academy, 1965 engaged in painting teaching. For decades, he has actively realized a sound modern personality in color art creation and color theory research. Paintings are bright in color, rich in hue, freely used in color language and constantly innovated in painting style, which has influenced the color perception and expression of a large number of young and middle-aged painters.
