Wang Ping (? —248), Zi Zijun, was born in Dangqu, Brazil (now the northeast of Quxian County, Sichuan Province), and his native place was Yizhou. During the Three Kingdoms period, the general in the last years of Shu Han belonged to Cao Cao, who competed with Liu Bei for Hanzhong and was able to surrender to Liu Bei. Zhuge Liang guarded the street kiosks with Ma Su during the first Northern Expedition, and was highly valued by Zhuge Liang. He led the ace army of Shu Han and followed Zhuge Liang in the Northern Expedition many times. After Zhuge Liang's death, he guarded Hanzhong. When Cao Shuang led a hundred thousand troops to attack Hanzhong, he was repelled by Wang Ping.
Death:
Wang Ping grew up in the army, he can't write, and he knows no more than ten words, but he can dictate and let others write books for him, which is reasonable. Wang Ping made people read a series of biographies of history and Chinese books, so that when they listened to them, they could understand their meanings and never lose the gist when they spoke. Wang Ping abides by and fulfills the statutes, never jokes when talking with people, and can sit up from morning till night. And then what's missing is. Wang Ping is narrow-minded, suspicious and self-abased. In the 11th year of Yan Xi (AD 248), Wang Ping died, and his son Wang Xun succeeded to the title.
