Appreciation of a solo tour of Qujiang in late autumn
Liu Xizai's Introduction to Art and Poetry is a unique introduction to Li Shangyin's poem Affectionate Love, which is a very representative masterpiece.

The first two sentences of this poem describe the "life" and "death" of lotus leaves, suggesting the change of life; Although I still feel this way for a long time, the last two sentences have passed away, and the style is infinitely sad, pushing the continuous affection contained in the first two sentences to a new realm that is hard to reach.

"Lotus leaves hate life in spring and hate life in autumn." At the beginning of the poem, the author's inner regret is murmured in a slow and heavy tone. There are four words in the seven words of the upper and lower sentences, and the repeated use of similar words reminds people of the chanting of "rainy night" in his seven famous poems "Notes on Sending Friends to the North on a Rainy Night", which comes from the straightforward feeling. The contrast between these two sentences has turned the heartless Qujiang lotus leaf into a sentient thing, as if the spring and autumn of the lotus leaf were all related to the poet's sorrow. In the sentence, spring is born and autumn is withered, and the contrast between hate and hate enriches the connotation of the poem. In this way, the first half of the poem expresses deep mourning from the aspects of tone, words, rhetoric and writing.

Similar events can also be verified in Yishan's mourning poem, which will help us understand the content and intention of this poem. "Song in the Room" says: "I remember the spring of the year before last, and there was no sadness in the words." In the spring of three years (849), Wang Sheng fell ill. Shi Yishan returned to Beijing as a guard because Zheng Ya, the head of government, was demoted. When the husband and wife meet again after a long separation, they are speechless. Knowing how to wander by the mountain for many years and follow people, we will have a more concrete and practical understanding of the meaning of "Spring hates life" in his poems. In the second year, the poet was forced by his livelihood and had to travel all the way to Lu Hong, Xuzhou to stop the shogunate. "Song in the Room" says: "Go home, the gold wares are longer than people." In the spring of the fifth year (85 1), Yishan Xu Mu went home to make up for Dr. imperial academy and spent the last few months in Beijing with his beloved wife. Unfortunately, Wang died in autumn. The famous mourning poems "Persimmon leaves turn over and mourn alone", "Qiu Lin's abdomen is difficult to send, and Wan Li's west wind is long at night" can explain why "autumn hates success" refers to. "Nothing but parting before death." Yishan and his wife love each other deeply, but they are often separated for their careers. The sudden death of Wang left many regrets for the poet. Only by knowing people and exploring the world can we accurately grasp the lyrical content of narrative.

The sentence "I know I have been in love for a long time" is infinitely sad, pushing the continuous affection contained in the first two sentences to a poetic realm that is hard to see. Such passionate mourning words, as he wrote in Dongchuan's poem "Return to Disease", said: "Affectionate true life is thin, and it is easy to be ileum." He only lives in the world temporarily, and the saddest thing is that he often turns grief into joy, and sorrow is hard to stop. However, this sentence is even sadder and sadder, and only the heartfelt words of "Spring silkworms die, night candles burn their wick" in the poem Untitled can seem. Therefore, poetry has reached the ultimate state.

The first three sentences are the most affectionate words, and the new territory will be shown again at the end of the sentence, and the graceful lyrics are used for collection. At the end of the curtain, Li Shangyin, who was sickly and draped, was traveling alone in Qujiang and heard the sad voice. He seems to be watching the sound of water, not listening to it. The obvious confusion of vision and hearing profoundly reflects his inner disappointment and loss. Synaesthesia is the so-called voice-heart communication, which is manifested in the blending of hearing, vision and feeling. What the poet saw and heard was untrue, but his thoughts were churning and his sadness was unbearable. The flowing water of Qujiang evoked his dreamlike memories of the past, his disappointment that the past was hard to find, and his sigh for the dead. Poetry comes to an abrupt end, but it is like Qujiang flowing water, endless.

The repetition of words in this poem makes this poem have the style of folk songs and the beauty of repeated tones. The poem symbolizes the change of emotion and life with the life and death of lotus leaf, and tells the love that will never die. The ending ends with a scene, symbolizing the past with the quietly passing river.
