Compared with red apples, which is more suitable for fruit farmers?
This spring, you must have experienced a period of more than a month, with apples costing more than ten yuan a catty, right? Because the price of apples is very high this year, many fruit farmers are very optimistic about this year's apple market, and they are also working very hard to manage this year's apple trees.

However, these days, some fruit farmers have encountered a little trouble. Because if you want to sell apples at a good price, you should have a good appearance besides the size, especially the color and appearance of apples, because this will directly affect the price of apples.

When we buy apples, it is obvious that some apples are red and expensive. Some apples are yellow, or half red and half yellow, and the price is also cheap. Generally, the price gap is 3-5 cents per catty. In fact, this situation is very common. Many farmers have used their brains and tricks, but it doesn't work. The color of apple is not red. Compared with good apples, the color difference is obvious and uneven. What caused this situation? How to avoid it?

The first thing to say is the variety of apples. Whether the apple is red or not depends on the variety. Some varieties are naturally red and others are naturally yellow. If you just turn the yellow apple red, it is estimated that what you have done is in vain. Moreover, there are differences and differences in the coloring time of each variety of apples. You should judge by your favorite varieties, not just by color. Secondly, the orchard where apples are planted has delicate terrain. Apples planted in the mountains are different from those planted in the original species in terms of sweetness and sourness, texture and color. For example, the same apple variety on the mountain is better and sweeter than the color planted under the mountain. Because of the different terrain, it is reflected in the appearance of apples.

Third, if it rains continuously. Continuous high temperature, these weather factors have an impact on the coloring of apples. If the land is too dry or too wet, it will also have an adverse effect on the coloring of apples. Generally, the temperature difference between morning and evening is large, and the soil is slightly dry. For apples, the coloring situation will be better and the coloring time will be shorter. Finally, the supplement of fertilizer. If urea and nitrogen fertilizer are applied too much, organic fertilizer is applied too little, and potassium fertilizer is not applied enough, the apple will be colored for a long time and will turn red instead of red. Moreover, it is necessary to prune the tree shape reasonably, form good ventilation and light transmission conditions, create good nutritional conditions for fruit trees, prolong their life and delay the premature aging of fruit trees. Another is whether there are too many fruits on the fruit tree, so that there is not enough nutrition, which affects the growth and coloring of apples.

In view of these situations, the following measures should be taken to make the apple color better. However, the premise is that only the management technology can be changed, and the variety of fruit trees, the soil planted and the weather and climate cannot be changed. First, it is reasonable to supplement potassium fertilizer. Top dressing should be done in time after bagging apples, but the application of nitrogen fertilizer should be controlled and boron fertilizer should be paid attention to. After fertilization, potassium dihydrogen phosphate is applied once a week or every ten days for 300 times, which can effectively supplement nutrition for plants and enhance photosynthesis. Potassium fertilizer 10 kg per mu of orchard, and potassium sulfate 10- 15 kg in early August if it is a red Fuji variety. It is recommended to apply potassium sulfate twice every two weeks.

Second, reasonable irrigation and watering are indispensable. If there is serious water shortage, apples will have color difference and slow coloring. If the temperature is high, it will aggravate the drought, so it is even more necessary to water it in time, keep the environmental humidity of the orchard reasonably, and adjust the temperature with humidity. Be careful when watering, after 4 pm. If it is a red Fuji variety, it is necessary to apply 20-30 kg of high potassium fertilizer per mu from the end of July, divided into two times, with an interval of half a month each time. At the same time, spraying 500 times of high potassium on apple leaves for 2-3 times will have obvious coloring effect.
