Yip Wong likes swimming, skating, roller skating and skiing since childhood, especially short track speed skating. 1 1 year-old was selected as the short track speed skating team of Century Star Skating Club, which is an out-and-out "Haidian Niu Wa". In 20 17, Yip Wong was selected for the Beijing team, and the following year, she won 7 of all the gold medals in the National Youth Short Track Speed Skating League.

In 20 19, 14-year-old Yip Wong was selected for the national training team of short track speed skating in China. 2022-2023 season speed skating championships

The 2022-2023 National Short Track Speed Skating Championship is the first national highest-level ice and snow competition held in the Winter Olympics venues after the Beijing Winter Olympics. On the day of the closing ceremony, in the 2000-meter mixed relay final, Yan, Nan, Song Jiahua, Song Jiarui and Yu of Yanbian mixed relay team of Sichuan Jingjilin Ice Tube Center won the championship in 2 minutes 42.356 seconds, and also won the second gold medal in this competition.
