7. To draw the mouth, draw a new horizontal ellipse. Select this new ellipse and transform them by clicking the left and right anchor points with the Transform Anchor Point Tool (Shift-C). Create a new white ellipse (Control-C, Control-F) in front.
Shrink it, but make sure the white ellipse stays inside the brown ellipse. The whole mouth is very important.
After that, influence > twist > arc, and enter the options you see below.
8. Using the rectangle tool (M), add a rectangle under the head to create the neck. It should be the same color as the face. In the selected state, go to Effect >；; Distortion > highlights. In the new dialog window, enter the options shown in the figure below. Expand the shape (object >；; Expand the appearance).
9. To finish the head, let's add some curly hair. Draw a big circle behind your head. Leave it selected and go to object > path > add anchor. Do this a few times and you will notice how to add anchor points evenly on the circle.
Then go to the effect >; Distortion and deformation >: folding and expansion. In the new dialog window, move the slider to the right to get 6%, and then press OK. You should finally look like curly hair. Don't forget to enlarge this shape (object >；; Expand the appearance).
How to draw the edge of ai pencil First, create a new rectangle with ai. It doesn't matter whether you fill in the color or stroke, but you need to readjust it later. Add an anchor point in the middle of the left side and drag it horizontally to the left side. Ctrl+Y enters the outline view and creates a new ellipse on the right.
Select all paths, shift+M, open the Shape Builder tool, and merge and delete redundant shapes. Fill each part with color, the most important part is the pen container, and the three parts are shallow, medium and deep. The three colors are separated and the other parts can be optimized.
Create a new blank document. Select the pen tool and set the fill color to none and the stroke color to black. Select a straight line, hold down ALT and SHIFT at the same time, and move it to the right to copy a straight line.
Repeat the steps, and then copy a straight line, arranged at equal intervals, as shown in figure 1. (Tips: Press Ctrl+D again to change the shortcut key and repeat the last copy action, so as to realize equidistant). Select the pen tool and draw a horizontal line to connect three vertical lines.
Using the pencil tool, set the starting point at the bottom of the first line segment and the ending point at the bottom of the second line segment, and then drag to create a curve. Select the Direct Selection tool, and drag the center line downward so that the bottom coincides with the end of the curve. Select all line segments and set stroke-fillet.
Select the pencil tool, click the left mouse button to set the starting point at the bottom of the first line segment and the ending point directly below the second line segment, and drag to form a curve. The side of the pencil will appear soon.
After completing the above steps, it seems that the bottom of the pencil tip should have a triangle-like shape. Using the pen tool, click the left mouse button and hold down the SHIFT key to draw a horizontal line segment in the middle of the pen tip. Separate the wooden body of the pencil from the refill.
Select all lines, set "Object Extension", check "Fill" and "Stroke", and click OK. Look at the path panel on the right and set the merge so that all the lines become closed shapes. One side of the pencil was drawn.
