Plot introduction:
In the late 1960s, a family named Zhou lived in Guangzi District of a provincial capital city in the north. His father, Zhou Zhigang, participated in the construction of the "Big Third Line" in Southwest China. His eldest son Zhou responded to the call of the country and became the first educated youth to go to the countryside. His eldest daughter, Zhou Rong, followed the poet's husband to the countryside of Guizhou, leaving only his younger brother Zhou Bingkun and his mother. In the past 50 years, the fate of the Zhou family has been intertwined with the changes of the times. After graduating from college, Zhou stepped into politics and experienced ups and downs in drastic reforms. Zhou Rong stayed on as a teacher after receiving his doctorate, but his love life was bumpy. Zhou Bingkun and Zheng Juan, beautiful and unfortunate women, experienced the pain of being laid off and the challenge of "going to sea", and supported their neighbors and relatives to advance together in ordinary years. While completing their respective life missions, the family also wrote the life epic of contemporary China people.
On Earth is a realistic drama directed by the chief producer, starring Xin, Song Jia and Yin Tao, starring Cheng, sarina, Song Chunli, Junbo Sui, Huang Xiaolei, Yu Zhen, Wang Yang, Bai Zhidi, Hu Lianxin and Wu Xingjian, and starring Zhang Kaili and Feng Lei. Based on Liang's novel of the same name, the play tells the ups and downs of Zhou Jiasan's brothers and sisters Zhou, Zhou Bingkun in the past 50 years with Guangzi Film as the background.
