Introduction and history of Badaling Great Wall
Badaling Great Wall is a part of Wan Li Great Wall, which was built in the 18th year of Hongzhi in Ming Dynasty (1505). Wan Li Great Wall refers to all the Great Walls. Badaling Great Wall is a part of Wan Li Great Wall, which was built in the 18th year of Hongzhi in Ming Dynasty. Badaling Great Wall is located at the north entrance of Guangou Ancient Road, Jundushan, Yanqing District, Beijing, with a geographical location of 1 15 59' 52'' to1559' 31'e, and there are some small scenic spots around Badaling Great Wall. Wangjing Stone is located on the west side of the road outside the east gate of Badaling Guancheng. Cixi fled overnight with Emperor Guangxu and his ministers. After Badaling, Cixi missed the Forbidden City and stood on this stone to look out, hence the name "Wangjing Stone". Qinqin Gorge is also located in the south of Badaling, on the west wall of the gorge, and there is still the word "Wuguitou Qinqin Gorge". Chadao City, adjacent to Badaling Great Wall, is an important military stronghold and post station for Beijing to the northwest.
