In Qianya Village, Anzhai Town, Quzhou County, there is an ancient pagoda tree, which is at least 500 years old and has a trunk diameter of 80 cm. It is next to Dragon Street, a main street in beautiful countryside-Qianya, and the stage is on the other side of the street. Every holiday, the neighborhood is full of excitement. There are countless legends about this ancient locust tree.

As early as the Song Dynasty, there was Qianya Village here. But the name of the village is not Qianya, but Nanya. During the Northern Song Dynasty, Kaifeng was often called Nanya, and Bao Zheng was the magistrate of Kaifeng. The administrative offices he set up in various places are also called Nanya. Qianya was once set up by Bao Zheng during the Song and Liao Wars, so it was named Nanya. And this tree is said to have been planted by Bao Zheng.

This tree was highly respected by the villagers at that time. Unfortunately, the trees planted by Bao Zheng were destroyed in the Yuan Dynasty. There is only one paragraph left, which was preserved during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty. At that time, immigration was going on. Before Long Xiaoda came here, he specially cultivated a new seedling from the old locust tree in Hongtong and transplanted it to its original position. Villagers often go to trees to burn incense and make wishes, which is said to be very effective. During the period, it was ignited by burning incense. 1932' s drought and the Japanese army's sweeping still stand proudly, known as "three deaths and three lives"

After that, Nanya gradually evolved into two administrative villages, Nanya and Qiannanya, and Qiannanya was Qianya. 195 1 year, the two villages merged and were collectively called nanya. 1962 is divided into two administrative villages, Qianya and Houya, which are still in use today.

Today, the local people still regard this tree as a god, and there is a Huaixian Temple next to it. On the first day of every month and at 15, villagers gather around the trees to burn incense and shoot guns. After becoming beautiful countryside, the current official is highly respected. There is also a brief introduction about ancient Huai on the wall of Huaixian Temple.

In addition, the Quzhou County Greening Committee attaches great importance to the protection of this ancient Sophora japonica tree, and has also set up a protection board on the tree, with a protection level of 2.
