Romance on lushan mountain is a lyric feature film produced by Shanghai Film Studio 1980, directed by Huang Zumo and starring Zhang Yu and Guo Kaimin.

The male and female protagonists in The Romance of Lushan Mountain are Geng Hua played by Guo Kaimin and zhou yun played by Zhang Yu. 1979 In the summer, Bi, a writer from Jiujiang, Jiangxi, came to the Literature Department of Shanghai Film Studio to participate in a script revision. During this period, he used his spare time to write romance on Lushan Mountain.

The story focuses on the love between zhou yun and Geng Hua. On the one hand, it shows the beautiful scenery of Lushan Mountain, on the other hand, it praises the magnificent rivers and mountains of the motherland. It took him five days to complete the first draft of the play and recommended it to Huang Zumo. After repeated discussions, the editorial department of the Literature Department of Shanghai Film Factory finally decided to shoot.
