Shanghai Beach is a drama of the Republic of China, directed by Chun Keung Chiu and Tan Ruiming and starring Chow Yun Fat, Angie Chiu and Lv Liangwei. The program was broadcast on TVB on March 10, 2000. The play is set in Shanghai during the Republic of China and tells the love story between Xu Wenqiang and Feng Chengcheng.

Brief introduction of Du Shangtan:

Du (1888-1951August 16), formerly known as Du, was renamed Yong at the suggestion of Zhang Taiyan, a native of Gao Qiao Town (now Pudong New Area, Shanghai) of Chuansha Club in Jiangsu, and the leader of green gang in modern Shanghai, China.

At the age of fourteen, Du was an apprentice in a fruit shop in Shiliupu, Shanghai. In the seventh year of the Republic of China (19 18), Huang Jiazhong, a Shanghai leader in green gang, did odd jobs, which won the appreciation of his wife. Since then, some of Huang's business has been handed over to it.
