Lin Jianwei is a retired ballet dancer. Lin Jianwei now runs a ballet school in the United States and lives in the United States.

Lin Jianwei used to be an actress of Shanghai Ballet, but she disappeared during the 1982 Jackson International Ballet Competition (when her partner was Wang Qifeng). Later, she joined the American Ballet Theatre and opened a ballet school in Los Angeles after retiring. Lin Jianwei is an American ballet dancer and was the head of the Stuttgart Ballet.
