From June 2000 to May 2003, he served as deputy director of the school office of Wenzhou University. During this period, he also served as the secretary of Academician Gu Chaohao and the secretary-general of the school board (including: from March to June 2002, he studied in the advanced class for young and middle-aged cadres at the Party School of Wenzhou Municipal Committee).
From June 2003 to May 2006, he served as the director of the Party Committee Office and the President's Office of (former) Wenzhou University, and concurrently served as the deputy head of the comprehensive group of the preparatory leading group of (new) Wenzhou University (in which: he studied in Zhejiang Normal University from September 2003 to June 2005 and obtained a master's degree. )
From June 2006 to June 2009, he served as the director of the president's office of (new) Wenzhou University (including: studied in the training class for young and middle-aged cadres in colleges and universities in Zhejiang Province in September 2007).
Since June 2009, he has been a member of the party group and deputy mayor of Yueqing Municipal People's Government.
