Puning City is located in the western edge of Chaoshan Plain in the southeast of Guangdong Province, in the southwest of Jieyang City, bordering on Chaonan District and Chaoyang District of Shantou City in the east, Huilai County in the south, Lufeng and Luhe counties (cities) in Shanwei City in the southwest, Jiexi County in the northwest and Rongcheng District in the northeast, and it is located in east longitude11543'.
