Cuiping Mountain is located in the southwest of Pingyin County. It is named for its lush green and picturesque lines. In addition, the mountain can be said to be a landmark building for visually measuring the flood depth in the old city, formerly known as "Shuishan". The main peak at the top of the mountain is called Baofeng Mountain, on which the Jade Emperor Temple is built. The gate faces south and is arched with stones.
The temple is also divided into two floors, and you can climb along the stone steps. There is also a stone bridge outside the door, with cypress trees on both sides of the bridge, and the Jade Emperor Pavilion in the middle of the yard. The buildings in the exhibition hall are unique. First of all, there is a stone coupon door on your floor, and there is a triangular floor upstairs, which has a strange style.
Architectural style:
Go half way to Shanxi, and you will find Baofeng Temple's address. This temple was built in the 11th year of Tang Tianbao (752) by a monk named Ci Jing. Formerly known as "Baoning Hospital". Jin Dading was rebuilt in the third year (1 163) and renamed "Baofeng Temple". After the expansion in Ming and Qing dynasties, the scale increased. The main buildings are Daxiong Hall, Huangyu Pavilion, Baiyi Pavilion, Tianwang Hall, Baxian Pavilion, Bixia Hall, Lingguan Hall, Yinying Hall and Theater.
At present, most of them have fallen down, but the remains still exist, and there are many stone tablets left in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. On the cliff on the north side, there are two Buddha caves with 12 Buddha statues carved in them. According to the statue records, it was made by Lu Chongzhen in the eleventh year of Tang Tianbao.
