Qian Huian's resume: painter in the late Qing Dynasty, native of Qingxi, born in Baoshan, Shanghai. He was good at painting figures and ladies, planting flowers and landscapes. During Guangxu, Xuantong years, Ni Tian and others sold paintings in Shanghai, which made him famous for a while. Works handed down from ancient times include "Cooking Tea and Washing Ink", which has been in Tongzhi for ten years (187 1), and is collected in Shanghai Museum. In the eighth year of Guangxu (1882), the fan "Listening to Lantu" is now in the Palace Museum; The seven-year-old fan picture of "Dai Tu of Lan Yining" was included in "Famous Fan Collection"; In the sixteenth year (1890), he made a map of Taoyuan and collected it in Tianjin Art Museum. The painting of ladies in the late Qing Dynasty mainly inherited the slender school of ancestors, but Qian Huian changed her style slightly, changing the image of ladies from a delicate rich woman to a village girl. As a Shanghai painter, Qian Huian has his own characteristics, and his work style is closely related to the North (Tianjin Yangliuqing).
