Jimei University is a key construction university in Fujian Province. It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Transport and Fujian Province, the State Oceanic Administration and Fujian Province, and Fujian Province and Xiamen City. It is a doctoral degree awarding unit, enrolling students nationwide. The school's predecessor was Jimei Normal School founded by Chen Jiageng, a famous patriotic overseas Chinese leader, on 19 1994. 1994 Jimei University was established on the basis of the merger of the former Jimei Maritime College, Xiamen Fisheries College, Fujian Institute of Physical Education, Jimei College of Finance and Economics and Jimei Teachers College. Enrollment objectives:

High school graduates (including ordinary high school graduates, secondary vocational school graduates and students with equivalent academic qualifications); College graduates (including college students).

Admission method:

The school will review the merit-based admission, issue the admission notice (stamped with the official seal of Jimei University School of Continuing Education to prevent forgery) and the admission notice for freshmen until they are full.

Registration procedure:

To register from now on, you must bring a copy of your ID card and household registration book (the first page and the inner page that records your situation), 6 recent one-inch photos (blue) without a hat and a copy of the highest academic diploma. Charge standard:

Tuition: 8,500 yuan/academic year (including 2,640 yuan for self-taught examination in Jimei University and 5,860 yuan for vocational skills training department);

Accommodation fee: 500-2000 yuan/academic year (depending on accommodation conditions, the school will make overall arrangements);

Textbook fee: 800 yuan (handled by the Vocational Skills Training Department, with more refunds and less supplements);

The entrance examination fee, practice examination fee and thesis defense fee of the self-taught courses are uniformly charged according to the charging standard of Fujian Education Examinations Institute.
