This breed was bred in 1998 by Quartermaster University of China People's Liberation Army (formerly Agriculture and Animal Husbandry University), and was approved by the Special Committee for Pig Variety Approval of the National Animal Variety Approval Committee in March 1999. Mu Jun 1 White Pig was bred by crossing Sanjiang White Pig as female parent and Shige Pig as male parent for five generations. At present, there are three strains. The pig is mainly produced in the breeding pig farm of the People's Liberation Army Quartermaster University in Changchun City, Jilin Province, as well as military and local pig farms in Jilin, Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang and other provinces and regions.

Mu Jun 1 White pig's head is of medium size, with a straight mouth and long ears, and leans forward. The shoulders are wide and the back is flat, the hips are plump and prominent, the limbs are stout, the coat color is all white, and the nipples are 6 ~ 7 pairs, which are large and even. The reserve pig weighed 98.69 kg at the age of 6 months, with a body length of 12 1.80 cm and a hip circumference of 80.8 cm. The weight of 8-month-old boars 120kg and sows 1 10kg.

The average litter size of primiparous sows is 9.42, that of multiparous sows is 1 1.29, and that of newborn sows is 1. 1 ~ 1.27 kg. Fattening pigs weigh 90kg 170 days old, gain 7 18g daily, feed conversion rate 3.02, average back fat thickness 2.48cm, slaughter rate 74%, eye muscle area 40.97 cm 2, carcass lean meat rate 62.43%.
