There are always some scenes deeply buried in our hearts: dilapidated classrooms, chalk heads, old cows, broken cars ... all of which brought us together and established the "West Dream" club.

Speaking of the west, people often feel mysterious and poetic. The scenic spots, natural scenery and ethnic customs there often give people beautiful enjoyment and arouse people's infinite yearning. However, Xiamen University's propaganda and promotion of western culture is lacking in school associations. At the same time, we can't avoid her poverty, backwardness and remoteness ... We hope to do something within our power for that undeveloped land with practical actions.

Through the questionnaire survey, we found that most students' understanding of the western region is only in the perceptual stage, some are incomplete, some are lagging behind, and some are just their own fantasies, but most students are eager to know more about and know more about the western region. Therefore, through such a community, we hope to introduce the peace, emotion, beauty and mystery of the western region to our students and provide them with a platform to fully understand the western part of China. Nowadays, with the great development of the western region, there are unlimited opportunities, so it is particularly necessary for young people with ideals to learn more about the western region. Through this new club, we can better understand the present situation of the western region and have a better grasp of the future.
