Teaching time: one class hour.
Teaching process:
First, import
Review the methods of appreciating poetry: 1. Know people and discuss the world. Second, understand the poet's feelings. Third, grasp the image
Image: a scene or object that contains the poet's thoughts and feelings in poetry.
Artistic conception: the artistic realm or atmosphere formed by the fusion of objective scenery and subjective feelings created by images. (slide)
In poetry, the atmosphere formed by one or several images has a specific name: artistic conception.
For example, "looking up, I found it was moonlight, then sinking, suddenly thinking of home" to create a quiet, deep and slightly sentimental artistic conception.
Two. Brief introduction of the author
Dai Wangshu (1905— 1950) is a native of Hangzhou County, Zhejiang Province. China is a famous modern poet. 65438-0925 entered Fudan University in Shanghai and began to be influenced by French symbolism. 1928 began to write modernist poetry. He has written poems: My Memory (including Rain Lane), Wang Shucao, Wang Shucao's Poems, and The Years of Disaster. In his early poems, he mostly wrote about his lonely mood, with a strong sentimental atmosphere. Influenced by western symbolism, his image is vague and implicit. The representative is Rain Lane. In the later period (after the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War), poetry showed strong feelings of loving the motherland and hating the invaders, as well as eager yearning for a better future, and its poetic style was positive and clear. His masterpiece is "I Use Broken Palm".
Dai Wangshu's short life is not calm. Smallpox left a scar on his face when he was a child. This kind of physical defect often makes him the object of ridicule. Even if he later achieved something in poetry, he was often laughed at by his peers. When he had just achieved something in literature, he fell in love with his friend Shi Zhecun's sister Shi Jiangping, but he didn't get a response. Dai Wangshu threatened to jump off a building, and finally reluctantly agreed to get engaged to him, but the condition for getting married was to study abroad and have a stable income. He went to France on 1932. Life was hard at that time, and I lived by translating. Three years later, after hearing the news that Shi Jiangping had moved away, he hurried back to China. Ended his relationship for nearly eight years. The following year, 1936, he married Mu, who was 12 years younger than him. The marriage lasted only four years. They divorced on 1940. Two years later, Dai married someone 2 1 year younger than him. Gave birth to two daughters, and ended in divorce on 1948. After the founding of New China, Dai Wangshu was assigned to the State Press and Publication Administration to be responsible for French translation, but at this time his asthma was very serious. 1950 died in February. )
Dai Wangshu, known as the "Poet in Rain Lane", has represented the inner qualities of a generation of lyric poets in China with his short and legendary life, so that his poems are still well-known in the world of poetry more than 50 years after his death. The poem "Rain Lane" that we are going to learn today can best represent him and his achievements.
Third, appreciate the whole poem.

(B) the overall perception of students reading poetry
Students are free to read aloud and talk about their first reading experience. Feel poetry as a whole.
Teacher's Guide: What kind of poem do you think this is? Do you think it's beautiful? Where is the beauty?
(The beauty of images, artistic conception and syllables, at least the beauty of syllables: rhyme, repetition and overlap)
Objective: To guide students to read and understand poetry independently. )
(3) Read this poem again (find students to read)
1. Tell me about the rainy lane atmosphere you feel.
Poetry relies on images to convey thoughts and feelings. The rainy alley is so sad. What images make up this situation? Can you imagine a picture in Rain Lane?
2. Talk at the same table and find out the image of this poem. (slide)
Clear: cloves, rain lanes, oil-paper umbrellas, fences,
3. Look at the topic first. The most obvious image of this poem is Rain Lane:
The alley is deep and quiet, coupled with drizzle, and there are quiet families on both sides. Occasionally, people rush by, and the artistic conception is full of hazy beauty. It can be "vague" as "the road to pursuit", and the hope is slim and lingering.
Looking at the oil-paper umbrella again, there is a feeling of classicality, mystery and nostalgia. There is also a dilapidated wall, which is even more dilapidated and desolate. Together with the rainy lane, these two images constitute a sad, broken and empty artistic conception, which is the background of the story and the protagonist's appearance.
4. An important figure in the poem is "Lilac Girl" (slide)
5. Why does the author "hope to meet a girl as sad as lilac"? Why not beautiful peony? Isn't it just that a shy water lotus can't win the cool breeze? Not a pear with rain in spring? Not lilacs?
Lilacs shaped like knots have white or purple flowers in late spring. Lilacs are beautiful, but they fade easily. So the girl symbolized by lilac can easily disappear and leave. Poets see lilacs often hurt spring and say lilacs are a kind of sadness. In China's classical poems, cloves symbolize beauty, nobility and sadness. For example, Li Shangyin's poem "Bananas don't show lilac knots, and the spring breeze in the same direction has its own worries", and Li Jing's poem "The bluebird doesn't talk outside the clouds, but bears lilac knots in the rain" and so on.
6. The image of Lilac Girl?
Qing: beautiful, noble, sad, hesitant; Cold, sad and melancholy; Breathing too much, sad and confused; Silence, dissipation
(D) the understanding of the main ideas
1. How does the poet feel about "Lilac Girl"?
Clarity: pursuit, yearning
2. So, what does this "girl" represent? Combine the second question after class.
Clear: (1) According to the content of the poem, a girl is a girl. The poet was 22 years old and said he was addicted to love. This is a love poem.
(2) Combined with the background of the times, girls are my ideal.
Supplementary background: The poem Rain Lane was written by the author in the summer of 1927, when a counter-revolutionary coup took place in April 12, and the cooperation between countries broke down. The reactionaries slaughtered the revolutionaries, and the young people who responded enthusiastically to the revolution suddenly fell from the climax of the fire into the abyss of darkness. Dai Wangshu is only 22 years old at this time. I engaged in revolutionary literary and artistic activities with my classmates to publicize the party's work before, and was arrested in March 1927. He has been living in seclusion in Jiangsu since the coup in April 12. At this time, he is very confused and painful. He can't see the future of the revolution and he doesn't know what he should do. He longed for new hope in despair. So a girl can be his ideal.
(3) Sometimes, the hero in lyric poetry is often the poet himself, and the image in the poem is often a supplement to the image or imagination of the lyric hero. We saw that the girl was melancholy and hesitant, and the author was in a melancholy and hesitant situation at that time. "Like me" appeared many times in the poem. From this perspective, the poet and the girl are two in one, that is, "I" is the real me, and "girl" is the ideal me, the future me and another me.
The teacher concluded: No matter how to understand the image of the girl, we can see that the poet never gave up his expectation of the girl and his diligent pursuit of beauty and ideals, although he was disappointed, confused, lost and sentimental in the process of searching. On the beauty of poem, syllable, image and artistic conception in Rain Lane. In my opinion, its author Dai Wangshu is a kind of beauty in itself, which embodies a persistent beauty, with a touch of sadness and a hard pursuit of dreams. (Play the song "Rain Lane")
(5) Read the whole poem together to deepen understanding.
Finally, let's read the poem together again. Feel its hazy and infinite beauty.
