Guilin University of Electronic Technology, referred to as "Guidian", is located in Guilin, a world-famous landscape tourist city. Approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, it was selected as the key university in the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program", the new engineering research and practice project and the basic capacity building project of the central and western universities.
